Some medical professionals took an interesting class called “Spinning Babies.”It’s exactly what it sounds like. The workshop, held at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha, is to teach birth professionals about positions in pregnancy and labor. Organizers said it all begins with fetal rotation to relieve the lesser known physiology of birth anatomy. The class seeks to cast new light on possible solutions in the progression of labor. Trainer Tammy Ryan has been attending births for 24 years, and she’s one of 15 trainers worldwide for Spinning Babies. “Today we have nurses from five different states here along with doulas. And we are working with the soft tissues of the body.
