Bellevue cyclists enjoy 40-mile bike ride through metro area Saturday
JUST A FEW MINUTES. ANNA. THANKS, CAITLIN. WELL, BIKING THROUGH THE METRO RIGHT NOW IS THE BELLEVUE BICYCLE CLUB AND IZZY VON FERRO DROOL IS LIVE AT THE STARTING LINE. GOOD MORNING IZZY. GOOD MORNING ANNA. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL MORNING DOWN HERE AT THE BOB KERREY PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE. WE HAVE BIKERS LINED UP READY TO GO. AND JOINING ME IS PRESIDENT OF THE BELLEVUE BICYCLE CLUB, MIKE MCGEE. TELL ME ABOUT THE BELLEVUE BICYCLE CLUB. WE’RE A LARGE CLUB HERE IN THE METRO AREA. WE ACTUALLY COVER OMAHA, COUNCIL BLUFFS METRO AREA. WE HAVE ABOUT 150 MEMBERS, AND WE WANT TO SEPARATE HELP CYCLING AND WORK WITH THE ADVOCACY TO SUPPORT CYCLING IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. THAT’S AWESOME. AND YOU GUYS ARE SUPPOSED TO START AT EIGHT, SO LET’S GET THINGS READY TO GO. WE HAVE ALL OF YOUR RIDERS LINED UP OVER HERE. WE’RE GOING TO GIVE THEM A LITTLE BIT OF A COUNTDOWN. ARE YOU READY?
