An $856 million Powerball jackpot is on the line Saturday night, up $70 million from Wednesday’s drawing.
The jackpot is the largest since last year’s $1.8 billion prize won in Arkansas on Christmas Eve.

If a player’s ticket matches all six numbers, they’ll get to decide between taking home the $370.7 million one-time cash payment or splitting the total prize money into 30 payments over 29 years. But the odds of winning are 1 in 292,201,338.
What numbers have been drawn the most for Powerball?
The most drawn number for the white balls is 61, at 124 draws as of Aug. 7. It was last drawn on Wednesday’s drawing. Just behind at 123 draws is the number 21.
For the red Powerball, four is the most drawn at 66 times. It was picked in the latest Aug. 3 drawing.

Saturday night’s drawing will be the 41st consecutive drawing since the current jackpot began on May 4. The jackpot is now the eighth-largest Powerball jackpot in the game’s history.
