Around 11:30 Saturday morning, an SUV crashed into the doors at a Hy-Vee gas station near 204th and George B Lake Parkway.Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said an elderly man drove his vehicle through the doors where a mother and her two children were walking. A 2-year-old and 7-year-old sustained traumatic injuries and were taken to Children’s Hospital. The mother did not need medical care.DCSO believes the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This investigation is ongoing.
