Governor

Incumbent Jim Pillen won the Republican nomination.

He will face the Democratic nominee, former state senator Lynne Walz, and Legalize Marijuana Now’s nominee Rick Beard in November.

Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts, who has been a U.S. Senator since 2023, defeated Todd Knobel, Eric Mortimore, Debb Axtell Schultz and Mac Stevens in the primary.
