Caught on cam: Intense fire engulfs multiple boats in Florida
Crews battled three boat fires on Florida’s Gulf Coast on Friday afternoon.Water could be seen being sprayed onto the boats as the fire sent plumes of dark smoke into the sky.”It was absolutely jaw-dropping, it was amazing,” Joy Ziss said. “One boat was involved, and after a minute, two boats were on fire.”According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the incident involved a cabin cruiser and two pontoon-style boats.The boats were presumed to be unoccupied, and there were no reported injuries, FWC said.”It absolutely scares me to death, and it made me sick today, literally sick,” Ziss said.An investigation will determine if the incident was a boat accident or a fire.
