Chance for thunderstorms on Thursday in Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. —
While temperatures are still very warm with highs in the lower to mid 90s we are finally going to get a break from those triple digit heat indices we saw this past weekend. For the rest of the week we are looking at highs in the mid to upper 80s making it very comfortable outside like a typical July like day. Not only are we looking at a very slight cool off but we also are tracking storm chances for Thursday late afternoon into the evening. As of right now Omaha is sitting in the marginal risk with most of our viewing area included in that risk as well. Risks could include damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and a possibility for hail in some areas. Make sure to stay up to date with KETV, on all platforms, to get the latest updates and forecast on what to expect for Thursday’s storm chance.
