Children’s Physicians announced the closing of their Plattsmouth office, with the closing date to be determined.

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. —

Children’s Physicians announced the closing of their Plattsmouth office, with the closing date to be determined.

The medical office confirmed with KETV NewsWatch 7 on Thursday.

Children’s Physicians said they were informed by their leaseholder that their lease was not going to be renewed. They will continue seeing patients until their closing date.

“As there is speculation in the community, we recognize the need for timely communication, and that key information we were hoping to provide — like our closing date — will need to be shared at a later time,” Children’s Physicians said in a statement. “We are actively communicating this change to our patient families, and we are committed to ongoing communication as more details become available.”

After the closing date, pediatrician Dr. Tina Scott-Mordhorst will see patients at the Children’s Physicians – Bellevue office, and pediatrician Dr. Hannah Donaldson will see patients at our Children’s Physicians – La Vista office.

All staff members at the Plattsmouth office will have the opportunity to continue to work at Children’s Physicians.

“Our priority is ensuring a smooth transition for our patients, families and care team, and our sincere hope is that we can continue to provide care for these families at one of our other area offices,” said Children’s Physicians.
