Christopher Anne Affleck, Ben and Casey Affleck’s mother, dies at 83

Christopher Anne Affleck, the mother of actors Ben and Casey Affleck, has died. She was 83.

According to an obituary, Christopher Affleck, who was known as Chris, died in her sleep last month after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December.

Chris Affleck, who was born in New York, spent years working as a teacher in Massachusetts.

Her obituary was shared publicly Thursday night.
