OrthoNebraska recognized four student-athletes with $1,500 scholarships for their perseverance in recovering from injuries and returning to sports. Nebraska basketball guard Cale Jacobsen, who served as the event’s guest speaker, shared his experience of recovering from a torn ACL. “There’s just always, there’s always another day. And, no matter how difficult things get, I just encourage you to keep working, show up the next day and give your best effort,” Jacobsen said.
