Council Bluffs police search for two people accused of shooting a child
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —
Council Bluffs police have issued an arrest warrant for a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old for their roles in a shooting that injured a child.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Monday near Damon and Knepper streets.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg. The boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Council Bluffs police asked the community for tips, which led officers to issue arrest warrants for Jeremiah Lassissi, 19, and Trent Hastings, 20.
Lassissi is wanted for the following charges: attempted murder, three counts of first-degree robbery, and a felon in possession of a firearm.
Hastings is wanted for the charges: attempted murder and three counts of first-degree robbery.
