COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —

An 18-year-old died after a crash in Council Bluffs Monday morning.

Council Bluffs police said the crash happened near the Des Moines-Omaha exits just on Interstate 29 before 1 a.m.

Authorities said the driver, identified as Gabriel Bach, was found dead at the scene and that they were the only person in the car.

The investigation is ongoing.
