11-year-old held at gunpoint and robbed while getting off South Carolina school bus, deputies say

South Carolina deputies are investigating after an 11-year-old was held at gunpoint and robbed while getting off a school bus.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office said the incident took place around 4 p.m. on Monday in Florence, which is in northeastern South Carolina.

According to deputies, as the 11-year-old victim was getting off the bus, they were confronted by individuals in two cars who stole the victim’s shoes, bookbag, and other belongings at gunpoint.
The suspects then forced the victim to remove all clothing except for their underwear, officials report.
Deputies say the victim was also struck in the mouth by one of the suspects.
Investigators charged three juveniles with armed robbery, second-degree assault and battery, and petit larceny.
The investigation is ongoing, and deputies say additional charges and arrests are possible.
