The jackpot grew to an estimated $707 million after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn in Wednesday night’s drawing. The jackpot has an estimated cash value of $307.3 million, according to the Powerball website.
Powerball tickets, which cost $2, are sold in 45 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom. Drawings are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
