Douglas County Board approves 911 service surcharge of 50 cents a month
VALLEY, Neb. —
The Douglas County Board approved a 911 service surcharge of 50 cents a month.
The board said that rate is lower than fees in other Nebraska counties.

The money collected is used to maintain and upgrade emergency 911 systems and fund public safety bonds.
