LINDENMEIER MIGHT HAVE HAD THE BEST NIGHT OF HIS LIFE. LAST NIGHT. HE SCORED HIS FIRST TOUCHDOWN OF HIS CAREER, BUT HE HAD BIGGER PLANS. AFTER THE GAME, KETV NEWSWATCH SEVEN’S EDDIE MESSEL EXPLAINS. LINDENMEIER PROPOSED TO HIS GIRLFRIEND KALYN STUART, FOLLOWING THE HUSKERS 68 ZERO WIN OVER AKRON, AND SHE SAID YES, THAT’S THE BEST PART. LINDENMEIER CAPPED OFF HIS DAY ON THE FIELD WITH THREE CATCHES FOR 44 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN, WHILE CAPPING HIS DAY OFF THE FIELD WITH BECOMING A FIANCE IN FRONT OF HIS AND HIS FAMILY. YOU KNOW, THIS IS WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE AND THIS IS A DISNEY DREAM. THIS WAS A HUSKER FOOTBALL MEMORIAL STADIUM DREAM. VINCE LINDENMEYER, LUKE’S FATHER, SAID AFTER THE HISTORIC NIGHT THAT EVEN MATT RHULE COULDN’T KEEP THE SECRET. LUKE SAID, I GOT A BIG SURPRISE COMING UP. Husker tight end Luke Lindenmeyer is celebrating after getting married to his fiancée, Kailyn Storovich, who is one of the Scarlets on Nebraska’s spirit squad.The happy couple got engaged following Nebraska’s 68-0 victory over Akron in Lincoln.During that game, the Papillion-La Vista grad scored his first career touchdown.
