Boys Town hosted an annual event Thursday night aimed at recognizing student athletes and raising funds for their athletic programs.The event was held at A View West Shores in Waterloo. It featured a VIP private reception, silent auction, dinner and a moderated conversation with three-time MLB All-Star and World Series champion, Anthony Rizzo.Boys Town says the support athletics gets from this event guarantees their students have an outlet where they can have fun and learn valuable life lessons.KETV NewsWatch 7’s Sports Director, Andy Kendeigh, emceed the event.This was the 59th year that Boys Town has hosted this banquet.
