Former Nebraska officer charged after incident at UNO
A former law enforcement officer in Nebraska was arrested for touching himself inappropriately and possessing a firearm during a class at UNO.
OMAHA, Neb. —
A former law enforcement officer in Nebraska was arrested for touching himself inappropriately and possessing a firearm during a class at UNO.
University of Nebraska Police and Public Safety was called to the Community Engagement Center on UNO’s campus on July 16.

According to court documents, Wayne Alley, 46, was attending a class related to human trafficking and child exploitation. During one of the presentations, Alley allegedly began making inappropriate contact with his genitals.
When University of Nebraska Police contacted Alley, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun in his pants pocket.
The investigation found that Alley was a former law enforcement officer in the state of Nebraska; however, his certification is currently suspended.
Alley turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday. He had his first appearance in court on Thursday, pleading not guilty to charges of lewd conduct and unlawful possession of a firearm at a school.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 1.
