Former UFC fighter from Nebraska arrested in Sarpy County
The former UFC fighter was arrested on Monday evening in an alleged domestic violence incident.
OMAHA, Neb. —
A former UFC fighter from Nebraska was arrested on Monday evening in an alleged domestic violence incident.
Anthony Smith, 38, was booked on charges of attempted first-degree domestic violence, terroristic threats and first-degree false imprisonment.

It’s unclear what led up to the arrest, as court documents detailing his arrest were sealed in Sarpy County.
Smith is set to make his first court appearance on Wednesday morning.
Smith grew up in Nebraska City but fought out of Omaha. He made his UFC debut in 2013, before fighting his last fight in 2025.
