FREMONT, Neb. —

A Fremont man was sentenced for an explosive-related charge.

Jared Eickhorst will serve 30 months of intensive supervised probation for unlawful possession of explosives.

Fremont police arrested Eickhorst in July 2025 after they allegedly found several items in his trash that are involved in making explosives.

Court documents allege an officer pulled up Eickhorst’s home on Google Maps Street View and saw a white banner with the word “explosives” written on it.
