‘A little bit of everything for everybody’: O-pa shares look at 2026-27 season
The nonprofit says it wanted to showcase performances outside of its Broadway season.
Omaha Performing Arts celebrated its 2026-27 season with performances, food and more Monday night.The first look was held at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Performances included music from Omaha’s “Queen of Soul” Kathy Tyree, who’s set to take the stage at the Holland Music Club in November.Omaha Street Percussion also performed at the season reveal Monday night.”These are the shows we are bringing in from all over the world,” said Andy Cassano, vice president of programming and education. “From our big blockbuster performances to our cultural shows to our family programs, a little bit of everything for everybody.”The 2026-27 lineup includes “Ghostbusters” in Concert in October, “Bluey’s Big Play” in December and The Peking Acrobats in February.
