A Girl Scout hosted an adoption drive at Blair’s animal shelter to help pets find homes and earn her Silver Award badge. The Girl Scout prepared adoption bags for anyone who adopted a pet during the event. The shelter highlighted the importance of every adoption and expressed gratitude for the community support inspired by the Girl Scout’s initiative. “All of them would be nice to be adopted out. Yes. But, the goal would be about maybe ten animals leaving today. That would be nice,” Rachel Priessler and Kelli Schroeder said.Each pet was available at a 50% discount, and adopters also received discounts on veterinarian treatments at the local Dawn Animal Hospital.
