POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY OFFICIALS CONFIRM IT STARTED AFTER MIDNIGHT IN CRESTON, IOWA, DEPUTIES AND IOWA STATE PATROL TROOPERS. THEY ALSO CALLED IN OMAHA POLICE HELICOPTER. THEY WERE TRYING TO TRACK DOWN ONE PERSON, AND THEY FOUND THEM ALONG OLD LINCOLN HIGHWAY.

A hit-and-run crash ended in a Taser deployment.

It happened in Crescent, Iowa, just after midnight Thursday.

Pottawattamie County officials said deputies, Iowa State Patrol troopers and an Omaha police helicopter helped track down one person involved.

They found the person along Old Lincoln Highway near Powell Lane and took them into custody.

No injuries were reported.
