Nebraska softball’s Rhonda Revelle signs contract extension, finalizes 2027 coaching staff

LINCOLN, Neb. —

Husker Athletics announced that Rhonda Revelle has signed a contract extension.

The winningest coach in Nebraska Athletics history signed an extension that will run through the 2031 season.

Nebraska softball found its way back to the Women’s College World Series for the first time since 2013 in Revelle’s 34th season with the team.

“As we said when we had the privilege of naming the field at Bowlin Stadium in her honor, Rhonda Revelle is Nebraska Softball,” Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said. “Rhonda is not only a great leader of our softball program, but she is a world-class individual who elevates our entire athletic department in many ways. The trajectory of our program is at an all-time high coming off a record-breaking season and we are excited for the years ahead under the leadership of Rhonda and her outstanding staff.”

As Revelle chose to stay with the Huskers, she also finalized the 2027 coaching staff.

Dianne Miller, who is going into her 19th season with the Huskers, will be the associate head coach, while Mandie Nocita, who is going into her fifth season at Nebraska, was promoted to assistant coach.

Olivia Ferrell and Jordy Frahm will also be assistant coaches, while Hannah Coor and Hannah Camenzind were named graduate assistants for the team.

Lauren Camenzind has been added as a graduate manager.

Revelle will have a larger role with the Husker pitchers.

“I love Nebraska and am grateful to Troy and our administration for entrusting me to continue to lead the Red Team,” Revelle said. “I am passionate and energetic to continue our quest for excellence. We are blessed to have assembled the staff we have. They are talented, smart, hardworking and all in on Nebraska Softball. We are excited to get our team on the field and build something special together.”
