I-680 expansion project continues with new on-ramp closure
OMAHA, Neb. —
Starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23rd the Pacific Street on-ramp to southbound I-680 will close.
At the same time, the Pacific Street on-ramp to northbound I-680 will reopen; it’s been closed since April.

I-680 detour

The detour recommended by NDOT is taking the Pacific Street on-ramp to northbound I-680, then continue to West Maple, there use the on-ramp to southbound I-680.
The Pacific Street on-ramp to southbound I-680 is expected to reopen Fall 2026, that’s also when the I-680 expansion project is expected to be complete.
The expansion project includes adding a lane in both directions on I-680 between Pacific and Dodge.
