THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL’S OFFICE IS INVESTIGATING. NEW TONIGHT IN IOWA, A WOMAN RETURNED TO FLORIDA TO TURN HERSELF IN NEARLY TWO MONTHS AFTER PUNCHING A TEEN ON A CRUISE SHIP. ACCORDING TO THE MIAMI-DADE SHERIFF’S OFFICE. JENNIFER FROST, PICTURED HERE WHO APPEARED TO BE DRUNK AT THE TIME, TRIED TO JOIN THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE VICTIM AND HER FAMILY. SHE EVENTUALLY WALKED AWAY, BUT LATER APPROACHED THE TEENAGE GIRL AND PUNCHED HER IN THE FACE. OFFICIALS SAY FROST WAS DETAINED ON THE SHIP BUT WAS ABLE TO GET OFF AT THE PORT AND RETURN HOME TO IOWA. THEY SAY SHE HIRED AN ATTORNEY AND AGREED

An Iowa woman returned to Florida to turn herself in nearly two months after she was accused of punching a child on a cruise ship.According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Jennifer Frost, 44, of Collins, tried to join a conversation between a juvenile girl and her friends and family. Frost appeared drunk at the time, according to witnesses. The girl attempted to ignore Frost “because she felt very uncomfortable,” according to court documents.Frost walked away, but later approached the girl and punched her in the face. Officials say Frost was detained on the ship. She was able to get off at the port and return home to Iowa. Frost hired an attorney and agreed to surrender herself in Miami.
