Monster Energy’s logo will appear on playing surfaces as well as football and basketball jerseys. Iowa State will earn about a million dollars annually from the sponsorship.

Iowa State football and basketball jerseys will feature the Monster Energy logo, as part of a new sponsorship between the energy drink brand and the Big 12 Conference. ISU’s football field and basketball court will also have a Monster Energy sponsorship, the Big 12 announced Tuesday.

Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark says the multi-year deal will bring in about $20 million annually. That amounts to about a million dollars each year for Iowa State.

Iowa State football players and coach Jimmy Rogers will speak Wednesday at the Big 12 Media Days in Dallas.
