A Sarpy County man was sentenced on Monday for a child pornography charge
OMAHA, Neb. —
A Sarpy County man was sentenced on Monday for a child pornography charge.
Matthew Demont, 45, was sentenced to six to 20 years on one felony charge of possession of child pornography. Three other similar charges were dismissed with prejudice by prosecutors back in July.

Demont was previously held on a bond of $2.5 million. According to court documents, the charges against Demont occurred in April and June 2025. Details of the case are limited as the arrest affidavit remains sealed.
