Jon Rothstein is a man of his word, and his Husker Happy Hour is officially set.

On Sept. 16 at Gate 25 in Lincoln at 5 p.m., Nebraska fans are invited to attend.
The happy hour stemmed from a promise on social media in December 2025.
Rothstein said if Husker men’s basketball won its first NCAA Tournament game, he’d put his credit card down at a bar in Lincoln for one hour.
Nebraska defeated Troy in the first round of the tournament, so now it’s actually happening.
