The Fourth of July is here, and KETV NewsWatch 7 is helping you celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a list of Independence Day events in and around the Omaha area.

July 3

Ralston’s 66th Annual Independence Day Celebration

• What: Archives museum open house, picnic on the green, street dance, concert by Lemon Fresh Days, and more
• When: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Where: Granary Green, 7401 Main Street

13th Annual Runderwood 2 Mile Glow Walk/Run

What: Participants will be able to wear glow gear while running/walking for two miles around the city of Underwood, Iowa

When: 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Uncle Sam Jam

• What: Live music, a flag lowering ceremony, fireworks show
  
• When: 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Where: Oak Lake Park, First and Charleston Streets

Beer Garden + Band + Street Dance

• What: Participants can drink alcoholic beverages, while listening to a local Iowa band at the street dance
• When: Two days of events sponsored by Friends Bar and Grill
• Where: 200 3rd Street, Underwood, IA

Omaha Storm Chasers baseball games + American Family Day

• When: 7:05 p.m. first pitch for both games, 2:05 p.m. first pitch for family day
  • Where: Werner Park, 12356 Ballpark Way

Ralston’s 66th Annual Independence Day Celebration

• What: Participants are able to watch a children’s parade in the morning, followed by a parade through Ralston, and attend a cool down party
• When: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Where: Granary Green, 7401 Main Street

Omaha Bar Crawl (21-plus or older event)

• What: Participants have access to multiple bars, as well as a custom digital map, exclusive drink specials, a free after-party, and DJ entertainment
• When: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
