An ice cream truck in Gardner, Massachusetts, is gaining social media attention for its mantra, “kindness is always free.”Maddy’s Ice Cream and More truck drives around the Gardner area to sell sweet treats to residents.Last week, with temperatures up toward 80 degrees, a young boy approached the truck with “no dollars.”Maddy Silvagnoli, owner and operator, told the child to come back and get a free ice cream.”We don’t turn kids away when they don’t have money,” she said. “You want an ice cream from Maddie, you get an ice cream from Maddy.”The interaction garnered hundreds of thousands of views on social media.The truck is also available for private events, including birthdays, graduation parties, and other celebrations.
