Lincoln crash leaves one motorcyclist dead, another hurt

LINCOLN, Neb. —

A 33-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Lincoln Friday night.

Lincoln police and emergency crews were called to NW 1st Street and W Grand Drive at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21.

Investigators said two motorcycles were traveling southbound on NW 1st Street when they collided.

One rider suffered minor injuries. The other was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died around 11:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
