‘Kitten Kindness Workshop’ offers hands-on learning for young children
The Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue welcomed children on Sunday morning for a fun event involving their rescue cats.

The Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue welcomed children on Sunday morning for a fun event involving their rescue cats.
The “Kitten Kindness Workshop” gave children ages six and under some hands-on learning on how to respectfully interact with cats. The event included arts and crafts, story time, as well as some gentle play time with the kittens.

Those with the Cat Cafe say the event provides a great opportunity for young kids to become comfortable with cats.
“So many families have cats, so I think a lot of kids are around with them in their day-to-day life,” said Hannah Johnson with Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue. “They’ve got teeth, they’ve got claws, and we want to make sure that kids are being safe always.”
Felius Cat Cafe & Rescue plans on hosting similar workshops in the future.
