To mark the milestone of 250 years, he created the intricate design in his front yard.

Burkett said the community responded positively after he shared the design on social media.

“Everybody’s very kind and they say things like it’s amazing and it’s beautiful and they appreciate the show of patriotism,” Burkett said.

To create the design, Burkett used a drone to take an aerial picture of his yard.

He then created the drawing in Photoshop and outlined it physically using rope and tennis balls.
