Omaha police say SpeeDee Mart employee stabbed man who allegedly attempted to steal alcohol
Police said a man was critically injured early Tuesday
OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police said a 19-year-old man was critically injured after a stabbing early Tuesday.
It happened at SpeeDee Mart near 132nd and Grover streets.

Police said officers were called to the scene shortly after 1:30 a.m.
Investigators said a SpeeDee Mart employee stabbed the victim, who was attempting to shoplift alcohol from the store.
Omaha police said a 21-year-old man was taken into custody for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The cause of the stabbing is under investigation.
