The man had outstanding warrants for assault causing bodily injury and disturbing the peace, investigators said.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the man fled from officers and later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Investigators said no officers were injured, and there was no use of force by officers during the incident.

The evidence will be presented to a grand jury, as is standard procedure.
