Worker seriously injured in elevator accident at Council Bluffs data center
One man was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries after an accident involving an elevator in Council Bluffs on Monday.
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —
One man was taken to the hospital with traumatic injuries after an accident involving an elevator in Council Bluffs on Monday.
It happened at the Google data center along Bunge Avenue just after 5 p.m.

The Council Bluffs Fire Department said a 24-year-old male was found trapped underneath an elevator. That man was flown to Nebraska Medicine with serious injuries, but his exact condition is unknown to authorities.
Investigators said it’s not clear what led up to the accident. More information will be released by officials on Tuesday.
