Douglas County Fair offers free family fun over the weekend
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —
The Douglas County Fair is in full swing, offering free admission and a variety of activities for visitors of all ages.
The Liberty First Credit Union is hosting the event, which features animals, exhibits, performances, and great food.

On Saturday, children showcased goats, sheep, and swine they raised.
“We love to promote Douglas County and all that Douglas County has to offer, so we have the Douglas County Extension here promoting 4-H and ag for kids. We love putting on events that promote all the things youth and adults do in Douglas County,” said Tejlor Smith.
The fair continues Sunday with more competitions involving rabbits and poultry.
Visitors can attend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
