FBI Director Kash Petal visits law enforcement in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa —

Top law enforcement leaders across the country met Monday in Iowa, including FBI Director Kash Patel.

Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird, who met with Patel, says she’s thankful for his work to strengthen local, state and federal partnerships.

Patel says they’re seeing major crime reduction across the U.S., including Iowa, with a 30% drop in Des Moines’ homicides from last year alone.

More than 100 law enforcement agencies attended the meeting.
