Mother’s day weekend looking fantastic!

Nice Mother’s day

IN. OMAHA, IZZY FONFARA JUUL KATIE VERSUS THE END OF THIS WEEK, EXCLUSIVELY NEAR OR ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. SO WE HAVE A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO HERE IN THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST. AS FOR RIGHT NOW, YOU MIGHT HAVE HAD A SPRINKLE ON YOUR WINDSHIELD. THAT’S ABOUT IT FOR THIS EVENING. MOST OF THE CUMULUS CLOUDS ARE GOING TO BE BEHIND US, AND THEY’RE MOVING INTO IOWA NOW AND FURTHER DOWN TO THE SOUTH AND EAST. WE’RE 76 DEGREES. THE WIND IS CALM. LOOK HOW DRY THE AIR IS. THE DEW POINT. THAT’S THE MEASURE OF MOISTURE IN THE AIR. IT’S IN THE 30S. FEELS A LITTLE MORE LIKE PHOENIX OR THE DESERT SOUTHWEST THAN IT REALLY DOES THE PLAINS OF THE MIDWEST HERE. SO HOUR BY HOUR, JUST FOR THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING 70S, WE’LL GET CLEAR SKIES BACK PAST SUNSET TONIGHT, WHICH IS AROUND 830. AND THEN WE DROP INTO THE 60S. WE’LL GO A 10% CHANCE TO GET ONE OF THESE VERY, VERY SPOTTY SHOWERS OR DRIZZLE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING HOURS. A LOT OF ITS VIRGA, WHICH MEANS THE LOWER MILE OR TWO OF THE ATMOSPHERE IS SO DRY, ANY RAIN THAT TRIES TO FALL THE CLOUDS EVAPORATES BEFORE IT HITS THE GROUND. SO AS WE GO THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING, THESE CLOUDS WILL EVENTUALLY DISSOLVE AND WE’LL HAVE CLEAR SKIES OVERNIGHT. HERE’S A COLD FRONT THAT WILL COME THROUGH ON SATURDAY. I DON’T WANT YOU WORRIED ABOUT RAIN, THOUGH, OR COOLING TEMPERATURES. SATURDAY IS GOING TO BE A WARM DAY. LOWER 80S. JUST QUITE A BIT OF CLOUD COVER, MAYBE A SPRINKLE LATE IN THE EVENING THOUGH. THEN AS WE GET INTO SUNDAY, TEMPERATURES WILL PROBABLY BE IN THE LOWER 70S. THAT’S WHEN YOU FEEL THE EFFECTS OF THE COLD FRONT, AND YOU’LL GET A LITTLE MORE SUNSHINE THERE FOR THE DAY ON SUNDAY. SO HERE’S HOW IT LOOKS IN THE SEVEN-DAY FORECAST. WE’LL GO 80 TO 70 DURING THE WEEKEND. MONDAY WE’RE AT 82 DEGREES. THEN ON TUESDAY WE GET UP INTO THE MID 80S AND WE DON’T LOOK BACK WHEN IT COMES TO ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THEREAFTER, WE GO PRETTY MUCH FROM SUNDAY BEYOND. AND TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE 80S OUTSIDE. AND EVEN NEXT WEEKEND, WHICH I KNOW IS A LITTLE WAYS AWAY. WE COULD TOUCH THE 90S OUTSIDE.
