After an overnight traffic stop turned into a deadly motorcyclist crash, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said 59-year-old Jeffery McDonald is dead.The sheriff’s office said the Nebraska State Patrol tried to perform a traffic stop near the Interstate 80 and 48th Street interchange in Lincoln on McDonald just before 8 p.m. Saturday night.McDonald allegedly sped off instead.Investigators say he failed to navigate the off-ramp and crashed.McDonald was pronounced dead on the scene after the sheriff’s office said CPR was administered.
