Nebraska shortstop Dylan Carey signs undrafted free agent deal with New York Mets
LINCOLN, Neb. —
Nebraska shortstop Dylan Carey signed an undrafted free agent contract with the New York Mets on Monday.
Carey is the third Husker to ink a contract with an MLB organization, following pitchers Ty Horn and Carson Jasa.

The Big Ten defensive player of the year and first-team All-Big Ten selection leaves Lincoln as the all-time leader in career doubles.
He also is the ninth Husker in program history to reach 200 career hits, 150 runs and 150 RBI.
