Nebraska players detail offseason growth, new schemes in fall camp
LINCOLN, Neb. —
The Nebraska football team held its first fall camp media availability at Memorial Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Quarterbacks Anthony Colandrea and TJ Lateef discussed the offense’s offseason progress and battles for playing time in fall camp.

“It’s a great room because it’s one of those things where iron sharpens iron. Those are great quarterbacks that we’ve been going up against because it allows us to get better off each other,” Lateef said.

Colandrea also highlighted the depth of the wide receiver room.
“Those guys are studs. I’m excited to play with Quinn (Clark), Kwazi (Gilmer), Jacory (Barney) and Nyziah (Hunter) and go make plays,” Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea said.
The Huskers will debut a new scheme while adding new players under new defensive coordinator Rob Aurich.
“It’s new for me since it’s the first time we had this type of scheme, but I think we have the right guys for it. I love learning it, and I think Coach Manning has been teaching it to us great,” Cam Lenhardt, Nebraska defensive end, said.
