Now, Nebraska’s governor has created a property tax hotline.

He said the hotline is to give taxpayers a platform to share information about their increasing valuations and rising property tax bills.

Pillen said the Nebraska Legislature has promised to fix the crisis, but lobbyists and special interest groups have thwarted its plans.

He wants to hear from Nebraskans on the hotline number 402-471-9554. You can also vent your frustrations on this website.
