Nebraska softball took down the defending conference champion Michigan Wolverines to advance to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.The Wolverines took a one-run lead in the 1st, before the Huskers responded with three runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. A bunt from Ava Kuszak put Nebraska in front.Michigan would cut into the two-run deficit with a run in the 4th inning. Jordyn Frahm would get Nebraska out of the inning with the lead, finishing with a game-high 9 strikeouts.Emmerson Cope would get that run back in the bottom half of the 4th inning with a solo home run, and close the game out for a 4-2 win.The Huskers are back in action tomorrow, May 8, at 4 p.m. (CT) against the No. 4 seed Indiana Hoosiers.
