Court documents released on Tuesday reveal that no charges will be filed against the Husker football player

KEY WEST, Fla. —

Florida prosecutors have declined to file charges against Nebraska running back Mekhi Nelson, according to court documents filed on Tuesday.

Nelson had previously been arrested for aggravated battery in June. He was taken into custody at Blue Flamingo Resort in Key West, according to jail records.

Nelson has 147 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in 12 games last season.
