A couple of big baseball tournaments started on Thursday in the metro, including the 8-team Bellevue Invite. Bellevue West hosted Fremont.The home team got on the board first when Barret Valasek hit to center and scored Jayden Ortez. It was 1-0 for the T-Birds.Fremont got defensive when second baseman Cade Pribnow came through with the diving catch.The Tigers’ bats were hot.
