WE’RE TALKING ABOUT A 1992 CHEVY SILVERADO STOLEN NEAR 38TH AND DODGE. LUCKILY, IT WAS FOUND. THE SUSPECTS DITCHED IT HERE NEAR THE NEBRASKA MEDICINE MIDTOWN CLINIC. SEE ONE DRESSED IN ALL BLACK, THE OTHER IN A RED HAT, WHITE SHIRT AND SHORTS. HE’S ABOUT TO LEAVE AND THEN CHECKS THE REAR TO SEE IF THERE’S ANYTHING WORTH TAKING, THEN WALKS AWAY. CRIMINAL THINKS HE’S CLEVER COMING BACK TO WIPE OFF ANY PRINTS ON THE STEERING WHEEL, BUT IT GIVES THE SECURITY CAMERA ANOTHER CHANCE TO CATCH HIM IN ACTION. HERE’S ANOTHER LOOK AT THE TWO SUSPECTS. Caught on camera: Thieves steal truck, try to wipe prints off steering wheel
According to the police report, the truck was ditched near the Nebraska Medicine midtown clinic
Two suspects were caught on camera stealing a 1992 Chevy Silverado near 38th and Dodge in Omaha, later abandoning the truck near the Nebraska Medicine Midtown Clinic. The truck was older, but to the victim, it was so new that the title and bill of sale were still inside the vehicle. Video footage shows one suspect dressed in all black and another wearing a red hat, white shirt, and shorts. The second suspect checks the rear of the truck for valuables before walking away. The footage also shows the suspect in black returning to the vehicle to wipe fingerprints off the steering wheel, giving the security camera another opportunity to record him in action.
