An Omaha woman will serve prison time for a deadly drunk-driving crash.

Gabrielle Geist-Hunter was convicted of motor vehicle homicide in the death of 72-year-old Thomas Spratt.

The 22-year-old was sentenced to 8 to 10 years in prison.

Spratt was struck and killed on the 10th Street Bridge in Omaha last September.

According to court documents, Geist-Hunter’s blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
