Omaha fugitive task force arrests two people accused of shooting a child
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —
Two people accused of shooting a child have been arrested in Omaha.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Monday near Damon and Knepper streets.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the juvenile with a gunshot wound to the leg. The boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Council Bluffs police asked the community for tips, which led officers to issue arrest warrants for Jeremiah Lassissi, 19, and Trent Hastings, 20.
On Tuesday around 3:30 p.m., Omaha Metro Area Fugitive Task Force located both Lassissi and Hastings near 31st Avenue and Dodge Street.
Officials said both were taken into custody without incident, and they were taken to the Douglas County Jail where they will await extradition to Iowa.
Lassissi faces the following charges: attempted murder, three counts of first-degree robbery, and a felon in possession of a firearm.
Hastings face the following charges: attempted murder and three counts of first-degree robbery.
